Is the AM8 microphone compatible with the FIFINE Genie software?
Sorry, the AM8 microphone is not compatible with the FIFINE Genie software.

Does it come with an XLR cable?
The AM8 microphone does not include an XLR cable, so you will need to purchase one separately. However, you can choose a bundle that includes an XLR cable, which offers better value than buying items individually.

Will it work on my PS5 or Xbox?
PS5✔️ for sure. Hook it up to the PS5 console USB port with the included USB cable, and set the mic as the default input and output if your 3.5mm wired headset is plugged into the mic. 

Xbox❌ is a no-no. Third-party USB audio devices aren't allowed to work with Xbox; this AM8 is no exception.

How do I setup the XLR connection?
For the XLR connection to work, you need a separate XLR cable to connect the mic to an audio interface (or mixer). You should control the functions (like volume, mute, or monitoring) on the audio interface (or mixer).

How can I get loud and clear sound quality while recording?
To get the best from the dynamic mic, we suggest speaking into the top of the mic within 2''-6''. You can adjust the mic angle with the included desktop stand or choose the boom arm version of this mic, the AM8T, for optimal positioning.

How to use it with smartphones (Android and iPhone) or tablets (Android and iPad)?
It works when using with a proper USB adapter. But we recommend using it only with PC and laptop, since the quality of the adapters may vary and the low-battery status of your phone may affect the performance of the mic.
iPhone/iPad with a type-C port needs a type-C male to type-A female adapter.
iPhone/iPad with a lightning port needs a lightning male to type-A female adapter.
⚠️If it's the lightning version, because of the protocol, it's highly recommend the adapter from Apple store.
Android with a micro-USB port needs a micro-USB male to type-A female adapter.
Android with a type-C port needs a type-C male to type-A female adapter.

Can it be attached to a boom arm? Or how can I set it up if I got the AM8T (mic with boom arm version)?
The thread size is standard 5/8" and 3/8" of the AM8 yoke. So attach the mic onto a scissor arm stand, NO adapter is needed, just screw the mic in.
