This Targus Chill Mat is a good cooling mat. It can not be used on lap or bed. However, when used on a flat surface such as a desk, it works well and really keeps my laptop cool, even when i use it for long hours. Overall its a good product.

The product is as described and original but it is smaller for a 15” gaming laptop. But the real answer is no it does not help much with thermals. Vmart service was excellent.
